Nova88 Terms & Conditions — The Member Agreement

By registering a Nova88 account, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. They explain your rights, our obligations, the rules of play, bonus terms, and how disputes are resolved. Read them carefully — they form a legally binding agreement between you and Nova88.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

1.1By creating a Nova88 account, depositing funds, or placing bets, you confirm that you accept these Terms in full.
1.2You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
1.3You must be legally permitted to gamble in your jurisdiction. Nova88 does not target jurisdictions where online betting is illegal.
1.4You confirm that all information provided during registration and KYC verification is accurate and truthful.
1.5Nova88 reserves the right to refuse service or close accounts at our discretion, particularly where terms are breached or fraud is suspected.

2. Account Rules

2.1One account per person. Multi-accounting (registering more than one account under your own or another's identity) is strictly prohibited.
2.2Personal use only. You may not let anyone else use your account, share /login/ credentials, or place bets on someone else's behalf.
2.3Account security. You are responsible for keeping your password and biometric tokens secure. Nova88 is not liable for losses from compromised credentials you've shared or stored insecurely.
2.4KYC verification. Required at first /withdrawal/ — see our AML & KYC policy. Documents must be valid and match your registered details.
2.5Currency: select once at registration. Members cannot switch currency on existing accounts — open a new account for a different currency only if explicitly permitted in your region.
2.6Dormant accounts: accounts inactive for 12 months may incur a small administration fee deducted from the balance. Email reminder sent before activation.

3. Deposits & Withdrawals

3.1You may only /deposit/ funds from /payment/ methods registered in your own name. Third-party deposits will be reversed and may trigger account review.
3.2Withdrawals are sent only to bank accounts or e-wallets matching your KYC-verified identity.
3.3Minimum deposit: RM 30 (or equivalent). Bonus minimums may be higher — see promotion terms.
3.4Maximum deposit: RM 50,000 per day on tier-1 banks, lower on smaller banks. VIPs may request higher limits.
3.5Withdrawal processing times: 3-5 min e-wallets, 15-30 min banks, 10 min crypto. See the payout guide.
3.6Nova88 charges zero fees on deposits and withdrawals. Your bank or e-wallet may impose their own fees.
3.7For deposits exceeding RM 20,000 in 30 days, source-of-funds documentation may be requested per AML rules.

4. Betting Rules

4.1Bets are confirmed once accepted by the system. Once confirmed, bets generally cannot be cancelled. Read cancellation rules.
4.2Odds errors: bets placed on palpably incorrect odds may be voided at our discretion. Stakes refunded.
4.3Postponed matches: remain pending 24-48 hours. If not rescheduled, stakes refunded automatically. Read void bet rules.
4.4Match-fixing: if a match is found by official sources to have been compromised, all related bets are voided regardless of result.
4.5Cash Out: available on most pre-match and in-play markets. Read Cash Out rules. Cash Out settlements are final.
4.6Maximum payout: capped per bet type — typically MYR 1,000,000 on single bets, MYR 5,000,000 on combinations. Detailed caps available in the bet slip.
4.7Bet ID: always save it. Required for dispute resolution.

5. Bonus Terms

5.1One Welcome Bonus per member. Choose 288% /slots/, 150% Sportsbook, 88% Live Casino or 88% E-Sports. See all bonuses.
5.2Rollover: bonus winnings cannot be withdrawn until wagering requirements are met. Read wagering rules.
5.3Bonus expiry: typically 30 days from activation. Unused bonus funds and incomplete-rollover winnings expire automatically.
5.4Minimum odds: only sportsbook bets at 0.5 Malay odds or higher contribute to rollover. Hedged or low-risk bets are excluded.
5.5Bonus abuse (multi-accounting, hedge betting across multiple bookmakers, arbitrage hunting) results in immediate bonus forfeiture and possible account closure.
5.6Daily rebates & reloads are not subject to welcome bonus rollover unless explicitly stated.

6. Prohibited Activities

⚠ The following activities result in immediate account closure and potential legal action.

🚫Multi-accounting (yourself or a syndicate).
🚫Providing false KYC documents or impersonating another person.
🚫Using bots, AI agents, or automated software to place bets.
🚫Money laundering, terrorism financing, or processing funds from criminal proceeds.
🚫Betting on matches where you have insider knowledge (e.g. as a player, official or affiliated party).
🚫Bonus abuse: hedge betting, syndicate plays, or chargebacks after winning.
🚫Attempting to hack, exploit or compromise the Nova88 platform.
🚫Use of VPNs to mask your country in restricted jurisdictions.

7. Dispute Resolution

1Step 1 — Contact live chat with your account ID and bet/transaction reference. Most issues resolve within 24 hours. Open support channels.
2Step 2 — Formal complaint via email if unresolved within 7 days. Provide all evidence (screenshots, transaction IDs, Bet IDs). Response guaranteed within 14 days.
3Step 3 — External arbitration: escalate to the Curacao Gaming Control Board (CGCB) if Nova88 cannot resolve to your satisfaction. Their ruling is binding on both parties.
4Bet settlement disputes must be raised within 72 hours of bet settlement. Older disputes may not be re-opened.
5The official source for sports results is the licensed data provider used by Nova88 (typically Sportradar or Genius Sports). Their verdict is final.

8. Liability & Indemnification

8.1Nova88 is not liable for losses caused by your gambling activity, including bets lost, missed deposits, or chasing losses. Gambling is at your own risk.
8.2Nova88 is not liable for losses caused by force majeure: server outages, ISP throttling, natural disasters, war, regulatory changes, or third-party game provider issues.
8.3Maximum aggregate liability for any claim related to your account is capped at the balance in your account at the time the claim arose.
8.4You indemnify Nova88 against losses caused by your breach of terms, fraud, or misuse of the platform.

9. Account Closure

9.1You can close your account anytime via live chat or the /responsible-gaming/ menu. Unused balance refunded to verified bank account within 24 hours.
9.2Nova88 may close accounts for: terms breach, fraud, suspected money laundering, regulatory orders, or extended inactivity (24 months). Where possible, we give 30 days' notice.
9.3Self-exclusion blocks deposits and betting for the chosen period. Read the responsible gaming framework.
9.4After closure, personal data is retained for 5 years per AML rules — see our privacy policy. After that, data is anonymised or deleted.

10. Changes to These Terms

Nova88 may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology or our business. Material changes (new fees, new restrictions) will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email and an in-app banner.

Continued use of your account after a Terms update constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may close your account before the new Terms take effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Curacao, where Nova88 is licensed (master licence 8048/JAZ).

Disputes that cannot be resolved through internal procedures may be referred to the Curacao Gaming Control Board for binding arbitration. By accepting these Terms, you agree to submit to this jurisdiction.
